Nora the Many: a choreo | graphic novel

Nora the Many is a story collectively written by Nora, Eleanor Bauer and Coven Press (a temporary collective of artists in Stockholm), and edited by Bauer for her PhD (Stockholm University of the Arts). The book is a fictional story of three sisters who live in a futuristic world where children access the internet with their minds, the Murdoch empire has been taken over by performance artists and Planet Earth (in fact a sleeping giant named Tworden) has died and is undergoing an autopsy. The three, enigmatic sisters move through the real world, navigating work meetings, nights out at the seedy, anachronistic, Cindy’s Bar, and searching for their long lost nephew, Elba the electric child. They also encounter the spirit world, meeting Nettle the Oracle who resides under the golden arches of an abandoned Macdonald’s Drive Thru and Coyote, the wistful, monologuing cat who roams the gentrified streets of Erdtown, resenting the city’s transformation.
